4. Record the sterilization date and the contents in the designated space.
5. Perform the sterilization process in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturers of the pouch, the sterilization device, and the instruments being sterilized.
6. Open the pouch from the indicated side when ready to use the instruments.
